APPLICATIONS are invited from individuals, multi-disciplinary teams or community groups for the 2009 St Andrews Prize for the Environment.
Aimed at helping ordinary people find solutions to environmental problems, the prize was launched 10 years ago and is recognised as a prestigious international initiative attracting entries from around the world.
The prize is a joint initiative between the University of St Andrews and ConocoPhillips.
The overall winner will receive $75,000, while two runners-up will each receive $25,000. The closing date for entries is October 31, 2008.
