Subsea 7 has won a £128million contract with Brazil’s state oil company Petrobras for work in the Campos Basin off the country’s coast.
Starting immediately, it will see the firm provide the management, engineering, procurement and installation of two rigid oil pipelines, umbilicals and subsea related equipments.
Work offshore is due to start in the first half of 2013.
The subsea layout is comprised of an offshore terminal for oil temporary storage and offloading (transfer and export offshore unit) and two mono-buoys connected to the subsea system (pipeline and equipment) through flexible hoses and umbilicals.
