OILFIELD equipment manufacturing firm NOV ASEP Elmar has announced senior new appointments and promotions across the majority of its global locations, which include a site in Aberdeen.
NOV ASEP Elmar, which was formed after the acquisition of ASEP by NOV earlier this year, is a designer of wellhead pressure control equipment and wireline winch technology.
David Brebner, formerly vice-president of NOV Elmar, has become vice-president of the new company, and Andrew Douglas has been appointed sales and marketing director, stepping up from his previous position as general manager NOV Elmar UK.
Mr Douglas said: “The changes to the management structure across the company will serve to strengthen our position in the market as we combine the knowledge base which existed across both organisations.”
NOV ASEP Elmar employs more than 800 people worldwide and is part of National Oilwell Varco, a provider of oilfield products and services to the worldwide oil and gas industry with more than 100 subsidiaries at above 700 sites around the world, employing 40,000 people.
