Energy telecommunications specialist Arrowdawn, of Aberdeen, said yesterday it had appointed a new director and increased hardware sales by 100%.
The firm, currently based in Rubislaw Terrace, also unveiled plans to move to larger premises due to growth.
Gordon Charlton steps up to the role of business development director after two years as the company’s business development manager.
Arrowdawn said it had doubled sales of its Cisco Systems products to £670,000 in just a year, adding it remained on track to hit an annual turnover target of £1million – a projected rise of more than 250% in two years.
The company is moving to offices four-times larger than its current premises as it looks to recruit at least four new staff. Mr Charlton said: “Arrowdawn has come a long way in a relatively short space of time and we’re looking to build on that success over the next year. We’re in a prime position for growth and I’m delighted to be appointed a director of the company.”
Arrowdawn took a stand for the first time at Offshore Europe earlier this month.
The firm said yesterday it was delighted by the level of interest shown in its business over the four days of Aberdeen’s biennial oil and gas industry show- case.
