MORE than 700 people attended the Subsea Business Awards 2010 held last night at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Dominion Gas was named Subsea Company of the Year, while the Emerging Talent Award was won by Katy Wilson, a consultant at Atkins Boreas.
NCS Survey collected the New Enterprise Award, and the Subsea Innovation & Technology Award went to Atkins Boreas.
The Subsea Global Exports Award was won by Optical Metrology Services. The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Bob Allwood, chief executive at the Society for Underwater Technolo- gy.
Subsea UK chief executive Alistair Birnie said: “These awards set out to recognise and reward those individuals and organisations that continue to break boundaries and ensure the UK subsea sector leads the way around the world.
“The many worthy winners and finalists can be very proud of their achievements and positive impact on the industry.”
