ABERDEEN company RMS- pumptools has added six new recruits to its growing workforce, which has now seen 16 people join in the past year, taking the total to 72.
The new appointments at the artificial lift electric submersible pump applications specialist follow the merger announced in May between Aberdeen firm Pumptools and Yorkshire company RMS – both subsidiaries of marine transport and oil services group James Fisher and Sons.
Joining the team in Aberdeen are a design engineer, sales engineer, senior project manager, production planner and purchase ledger controller.
A quality health and safety and environmental specialist has joined the firm’s manufacturing operations at Malton, north Yorkshire.
Sales director Paul Shotter is pleased to welcome the new recruits to the team.
He said: “With the recent merger, our product range has diversified, providing further integrated technological solutions to our international client base.
“Our integration has been seamless and we have continued to ensure our clients receive the best possible service.
“I am confident our new recruits will be valuable additions to our existing teams and I look forward to building on the success both companies have enjoyed to date.”
RMSpumptools currently has representative offices throughout the world including in Thailand, Oman, Ecuador, Colombia, the US and Australia.
Its UK workforce includes 27 at its Dyce headquarters, where it carries out mechanical production and its sales operation is focused along with administration, four at Montrose in manufacturing, and 38 at Malton.
