NORWAY’S Petroleum Safety Authority has given Lundin Petroleum clearance to drill in the southern part of the Norwegian North Sea with the semi-submersible drilling rig, Songa Dee.
The consent applies to drilling an exploration well on block 16/1. This includes a sidetrack to the 16/1-12 well.
The programme is expected to last 74 days and to include a well test.
