OIL service company Petrotechnics has been voted one of the best companies to work for in Texas only a year after opening an office in the US state.
The Aberdeen-based company, which specialises in transforming the safety and efficiency of frontline operations in the global energy industry, was given the honour by the Best Companies to Work for in Texas programme as part of a project initiated by business associations throughout America.
Petrotechnics employs 140 staff in the UK and has a team of 40 people based in Houston, Texas, plus offices in Trinidad and Tobago and Russia. The Texas award programme recognises the top 100 employers in the state every year, acknowledging companies benefiting its economy, workforce and businesses.
Chief executive, Phil Murray, said: “The US is an important market for us and we are delighted to have been recognised.
“This award has cemented our place in the US.”
