ABERDEEN-BASED oil and gas service company Brinker Technology has announced the appointment of Kenny McAllister as vice-president of sales and operations.
He joins the firm in the newly established role from energy-service giant Halliburton, where he was senior account manager.
He will focus on building the sales of Brinker’s patented platelet barrier technology, which detects leaks in oil and gas wells and seals them without any workover rig involved.
Mr McAllister said yesterday he was delighted to have joined Brinker, which also announced it hoped to create 10 posts globally, including seven in Aberdeen, thanks to recent growth.
The firm plans to expand operations in the North Sea, Middle East and Far East.
Chief executive Kevin Stewart said Mr McAllister’s appointment would help the company continue to expand and “further secure our position in the industry”.
He added: “We welcome Kenny at an important time in Brinker’s progression.
“Our business has grown rapidly over the last year and we must now harness this as we embark on the next stage in our development.”
