ABERDEEN-BASED global energy service company PSN said yesterday it had landed a UK contract with Nexen worth £30million-plus.
PSN is to continue to provide operations and maintenance support to Nexen’s Buzzard and Scott assets in the central North Sea.
The re-award of the work to PSN follows a competitive tendering exercise.
It is a new three-year contract, with the option of up to a further three years.
Peter Brown, PSN’s UK managing director said: “The award of this contract underlines the hard work and commitment of the PSN team to deliver on safety, performance and cost year on year. We have supported Nexen since its arrival in the North Sea and pride ourselves on the level of repeat business we generate from long-term relationships. We share a joint commitment to growth with Nexen and look forward to exciting years ahead.”
PSN has about 200 people working on the contract.
