ENERGY consultant Xodus Group, of Aberdeen, has opened a £5million office in The Hague as part of its global expansion strategy.
A number of key appointments, including Boma Pepple becoming operations director, have been made and Xodus aims to have 20 people operating from The Hague by the end of the year.
Chief executive Colin Manson said yesterday the move was in direct response to a demand from operators for a consultancy offering integrated subsurface and surface services.
He added: “We have been building our subsurface capabilities over the last two years in response to the industry need for a clearer understanding of what is going on in challenging reservoirs.
“We are taking that service offering to the next level, with a dedicated, integrated subsurface and surface team. We predict an increase in opportunities around the globe.”
Xodus now has 30 subsurface professionals across the business among a 400-plus overall workforce, and plans to grow this to 70 during 2012.
