Aberdeen-based oilfield service company Reservoir Group said yesterday it had made another acquisition.
The firm has bolstered its well-intervention portfolio with WellTools, a business based at Inverkeithing established in 2004.
The value of the deal was not disclosed, but comes in the same month Reservoir acquired US-based Warren and Christian.
The company has now taken on 13 firms since the start of last year.
Reservoir chief operating officer Wade McCutcheon said the company was attracted to WellTools by its work designing and manufacturing bespoke products for the downhole service sector.
Reservoir said WellTools’ former owner, Paul Hilliard, would remain with the division as general manager.
