THE EUROPEAN chapter of oil and gas industry body the Intervention and Coiled Tubing Association (ICoTA) has appointed a new chairman and vice-chairman.
Former vice-chairman Callum Munro will step up to take the helm, while fellow committee member Michael Taggart has been named vice-chairman.
Both appointments were announced at the ICoTA European Chapter’s annual dinner in the Marcliffe Hotel, Aberdeen, attended by more than 300 figures from the region’s intervention and coiled-tubing industry.
Mr Munro is a senior well engineer at BP, while Mr Taggart is an engineering manager with Baker Hughes.
