Oil and gas consultant Maxoil Solutions has launched a new division to focus on new opportunities it has identified in the energy sector. It said its new unit, Maxoil OPS (operations performance strategy) would allow it to expand its range of specialist services.
OPS involves a detailed review of complex production operations and is aimed at improving asset performance in a sustainable manner.
It was developed from knowledge gained by Maxoil from a wide range of oil and gas operations.
Heading up the new division is Keith Gordon, who said: “This is an exciting time in the oil and gas business, with lots of challenges to be met. It seems the more we innovate, the more we find yet more complex problems to overcome.
“OPS has been developed to help meet these challenges and improve performance.”
Maxoil has its headquarters in Poynernook Road, Aberdeen, with satellite offices in Houston, in the US and Bergen, Norway.
