Shell has appointed a new manager for its Fife NGL Plant at Mossmorran.
Teresa Waddington has stepped down after three years in the role so that she can return to Canada, where she will continue to work for Shell.
She has been replaced at Fife NGL by Craig Burnett, production coordinator at the plant for the last two years.
He joined Shell following its takeover of BG Group in 2016.
From Banchory, Craig is a chemical engineering graduate from Heriot-Watt University and previously worked with Talisman Energy and BG Group in the North Sea.
While with BG Group he spent time in Australia working on the now Shell-operated Queensland LNG Project, including supporting community engagement.
He said: “Since first coming to work at Shell’s plant at Mossmorran two years ago, it’s been clear what a strong contribution it makes to the economies of the local area and Scotland more widely.
“But equally important is the need for it to be a good neighbour to people living nearby. That matters hugely to them – and to me. It will remain a priority as I take over the running of the plant.”
