AKD Engineering said today it had been awarded a contract by a Schulmberger for the design, manufacture and testing of four process control modules.
The modules will be for a floating storage, production and offtake vessel currently being built in Korea.
The work will be carried out at AKD’s Lowestoft facitility starting immediately to meet a completion and sail away early in 2013.
Denise Farr AKD’s sales and marketing manager said that the multi million pound contract was won against UK and International competition.
“We are delighted to be part of the project which is one of the most exciting developments to come this decade,” she added.
