The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has kicked off the 22nd Licensing Round on the Norwegian Continental Shelf with an offer of 86 blocks and part blocks, 14 in the Norwegian Sea and 72 in the Barents Sea.
Record-breaking interest in the Barents Sea is expected. With 72 of a total of 86 announced blocks, the Barents Sea emerges as the main sea of possibilities in the 22nd licensing round.
