Cosalt Offshore said yesterday it had been awarded a multimillion-pound contract with CNR International (UK).
The three-year deal comes with two one-year options and will see Cosalt provide lifting and mech-anical handling support services on five platforms: Tiffany, Ninian North, Central and South plus Murchison. Cosalt said it already did this work for CNR, but the new contract was won as the result of a competitive tender process.

Keith Matheson, mechanical engineer at CNR, said: “Cosalt Offshore has provided an exceptionally high-quality and cost-effective service over the past five years, and we look forward to continuing to work with the firm.”
Cosalt Offshore has more than 240 workers based in Aberdeen and additional operations in Norway.
