Craig International Supplies (CIS), a division of Aberdeen shipping and energy services firm Craig Group, said yesterday it had landed a multimillion-pound contract with a major oil and gas operator.
The oil field procurement services company has been awarded a three-year deal with BG in the North Sea worth between £3million and £4million.
CIS director Steve McHardy said: “This new contract win cements our position as the largest privately-owned European procurement company operating in the oil and gas industry. It is of particular significance as our growth strategy is focused on increasing our global presence and securing new business with high-profile international oil and gas organisations.”
CIS has reported record sales this year, with an annual turnover of £37million.
