Aberdeen-based energy service group ICR Integrity has formed a joint venture with an Australian firm.
ICR, which specialises in integrity and maintenance, said yesterday it had teamed up with ICC Group to create IC Integrity.
ICR said the agreement would allow one of its companies, Walker Technical, to market its products to oil and gas clients in the Asia-Pacific region and was expected to provide it with an extra £7million of annual sales within four years.
ICR will have a 51% share of IC Integrity, which will be managed out of ICC’s Perth headquarters.
Walker commercial director and IC Integrity board member John Brotchie said Walker had worked with ICC in the past. He added: “The JV provides us with a much more robust operational structure, which will be beneficial for future expansion plans, including introducing the services of other ICR-owned businesses to the Australasia region.”
