Wood Group, of Aberdeen, said yesterday one of its units had landed a £4.8million deal from Apache North Sea.
Subsea and pipeline business JP Kenny has been awarded a new contract to provide subsea engineering services.
It runs initially for three years, with further options beyond this timescale, and covers all of Apache’s North Sea assets.
Bob MacDonald, operations director for JP Kenny, said: “This is a significant contract for JP Kenny and we are excited to actively support Apache with its ongoing operations, as well as its growth in the North Sea.”
Apache projects group manager Mark Richardson said: “Apache has a wide range of projects that we wish to progress in the near future.
“This contract is focused on the delivery of these projects to help our expansion in the North Sea.”
