The Aberdeen section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers has appointed Anthony Onukwu, above, as its chairman, taking over the role from Masud Javaid.
Mr Onukwu is a senior technology analyst for ITF, the oil and gas industry technology facilitator, with 12 years’ energy-industry experience.
He has also worked as a petroleum engineer and project engineer in both the UK and west Africa.
