Dron and Dickson, a specialist in design, supply and maintenance of hazardous-area electrical equipment, yesterday announced the best year yet for its Aberdeen wholesale division.
The operation has had nearly £11million in sales in the past 12 months.
The division, which supplies electrical products to oil and gas companies including Talisman and Chevron, also recently invested in a new assembly department for certified junction boxes at its Tullos base.
Sales manager Bruce McHattie said: “It’s really been a fantastic year for the wholesale side of the business. The investment in the new facility has increased capacity and turnaround time on orders.”
D&D employs 200-plus people offshore and onshore and has UK wholesale bases in Aberdeen, Hull, Lowestoft and Stirling.
