Firms and workers from across the oil and gas sector are vying for annual industry awards.
The finalists for the Oil and Gas UK Awards, which will be held in Aberdeen later this year, have been announced and include representatives from both operators and service companies.
Trade body Oil and Gas UK (OGUK), which is organising the accolades, said yesterday it had received a record number of entries for the five categories.
OGUK chief executive Malcolm Webb added: “This year, the competition is even stiffer and it gives me great pleasure to see such an array of outstanding talent on display.
“There’s no doubt that the OGUK Awards ceremony will once again be packed full of very talented people and I look forward to paying tribute to all of the finalists on the night. Best of luck to all of them.”
The winners will be announced at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on Thursday, November 8.
