An Aberdeen subsea firm has completed a seabed clearance project west of Shetland.
Ecosse Subsea Systems agreed the deal, believed to be worth up to £1million, for work on Total’s Laggan-Tormore field.
The company used a trenching tool to remove 1,000 boulders that were holding up cable-laying and umbilical installation work. Ecosse cleared 41 miles of seabed, 2,100ft down.
