International subsea equipment service specialist Ashtead Technology Offshore has its eye on the Middle East.
The Aberdeen company has signed up Abu Dhabi-based Technical Equipment Services (TES) to promote its rental range to customers in the region.
Ashtead has provided TES with an initial £2.5million worth of equipment.
Ashtead chief executive Allan Pirie said: “This agreement greatly strengthens Ashtead’s global offering.
“Working closely with a well-positioned Middle East partner that has an established reputation for quality service and support means that we can offer a more responsive and flexible local service to both existing and new Middle East-based customers. With resources already in place, we are geared for significant growth in the region.”
