Energy service company ATR has appointed Bob Forbes and David McKendrick as chairman and sales and marketing director respectively.
Chief executive Keith Moorhouse said a recent rebranding of the Aberdeen company’s operations, launch of a new website and appointments were all part of the company’s expansion strategy.
The company has grown significantly since a management buy-in over four years ago and now boasts turnover in excess of £20million and 120 employees.
In the first six months of 2012, it secured over £20million of finance and completed the acquisition of marine and subsea support equipment specialist UES.
ATR also recently added a new base at Great Yarmouth to complement operations in Aberdeen and Baku plus capitalise on opportunities in the central and southern North sea.
Mr Forbes is the founder and former chief executive of ABZ Group, which was sold to Sovereign Oilfield Services in 2007.
Mr McKendrick has held senior business roles at companies including Wood Group, General Electric and Ace Winches.
