Energy service company Centrifuges Unlimited said yesterday that turnover had broken the £3million mark.
The Aberdeen firm, which moved into new offices at Dyce last year to accommodate further growth, said turnover in the year to August 31 was £3.2million, up from £2.6million in the previous 12 months.
The company said nearly one-third of its sales now came from overseas, with key markets including Norway, Africa, Brazil and the Middle East.
Centrifuges – which specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of equipment such as water separators and mud coolers – said it had recruited four people to meet the growing demand for its services, taking its workforce to 23.
Managing director Jim Shiach said the firm’s success was down to its reliable international service.
