Scottish firm Sulmara Subsea has appointed its first chief commercial officer (CCO) as it continues its growth drive.
Carlo Pinto, a 20-year veteran in the industry, will take up the role for the subsea surveying firm, and be based in Milan.
Mr Pinto is formely the chief operating officer of London-headquartered Next Geosolutions, which has offices in Naples and the UAE, having previously worked for subsea player UTEC and GeoLab.
Sulmara Subsea is headquartered in Glasgow with operational bases in Aberdeen and Texas, and also recently opened a new office in Singapore for Asia-Pacific expansion.
The firm also has operations in Norway, Mexico and Taiwan and is taking steps to offset its carbon emissions.
The company, established in March 2019, said it is on projected to double its global workforce to more than 100 people in the coming months.
