Aker Solutions revealed today it had signed a contract with Marathon Oil Norge for subsea equipment for the Alvheim field.
The company’s Aberdeen operation will supply the subsea control systems for the project on the Norwegian continental shelf.
The deal value has not been disclosed, but is believed to be worth £10-£20million.
The contract includes the delivery of four subsea trees, control systems and associated equipment.
Matt Corbin, head of Aker Solutions’ UK subsea business, said: “Our dedicated subsea teams in the UK and Norway look forward to execute another project on behalf of Marathon.
