The hunt is on for the UK oil and gas industry’s most safety-conscious workers and companies.
Nominations are being accepted for the 2013 UK Oil and Gas Industry Safety Awards, which reach their climax at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on April 24.
Held annually by Oil and Gas UK and Step Change in Safety, this year’s edition sees the launch of a new prize category for workforce engagement.
Urging potential winners to get their entries in by the March 1 deadline, Step Change in Safety team leader Les Linklater said: “Offshore safety has improved so much over the last 15 years and these awards are all about showcasing the really positive things that are going on.”
