Aberdeen project-management firm EPC Offshore has started recruiting an additional 35 people for its offices in the city.
It has grown rapidly since it was established in 2009 and now has a staff of 80 and turnover in the past financial year reached £12million.
The company is seeking to expand its work in brownfield, subsea and floating production and storage markets.
EPC also said it had appointed Jonathan White as head of business development to expand its customer base across the North Sea and internationally.
Chief executive Keith Wallace, co-owner of EPC with Peter Kirkbride, said: “We have been making significant changes on a number of levels in recent months and this latest appointment forms an important part of our new business strategy.”
Mr White joins from Aker Solutions where he was vice-president of business development for six years.
He said: “What attracted me to EPC Offshore was the company’s reputation as a dynamic business known for its expertise and competence in reliably defining, controlling and delivering oil and gas projects to a diverse range of customers. It is an organisation with enormous potential in today’s markets.”
