Subsea engineering and training firm Jee has opened an office in London as part of expansion plans.
Jee, which has offices at Westhill, near Aberdeen, said yesterday the move into the capital would help it create 150 jobs across its UK sites in four years.
As part of that growth, the business wants to increase its north-east workforce from 22 to about 60 by the end of 2013.
Jee, founded 25 years ago by managing director Trevor Jee, aims to grow its annual turnover from £5million to £20million over the next four years.
The company said its London office, which will be led by technical director Mike Hawkins and team leader Graham Wilson, could accommodate up to 20 people.
Mr Hawkins said: “Opening an office in central London has long been a goal for Jee and the whole team is thrilled to be taking this next step in expanding the company.
“The new location will allow us to better serve . . . clients and will be a hub from which we can attract more high-calibre employees.”
