Senergy Development Solutions (SDS) said yesterday it expected to exceed its turnover target of £4million for the year to the end of May and also add to its team.
The Aberdeen subsidiary of energy service company Senergy plans to double its turnover compared with the previous 12 months.
SDS employs 37 people, all but one of them in Aberdeen.
It is now to appoint people in Edinburgh and London to support its expansion and is on course for a workforce of 40, a doubling of staff over the past six months.
The firm credits the growth to increasing demand for its services in oil and gas facility engineering and “total project delivery”.
SDS said it had built on its wide portfolio of clients and projects in the North Sea, south-east Asia, west Africa and the Middle East.
The head of SDS, Murray Douglas, said: “Within SDS’s first financial year alone, we completed 62 projects which is a significant number.
“Due to the rapid evolution of the business, we’re adding new members to our team to not only enable us to deliver the work we have already secured but also to develop our service offerings.”
