Chevron’s Cabinda Gulf Oil Company subsidiary has made the final investment decision and is proceeding with the development of the Mafumeira Sul project offshore Angola.
The $5.6billion development offshore Cabinda Province in 60m of water is the second stage of the Block 0 development of the Mafumeira field. The project scope includes 50 wells, two wellhead platforms, a central processing and compression facility, and approximately 121 km of subsea pipelines.
