Noble Drilling has advised that it has secured two new contracts for its new-build jack-up drilling rigs currently under construction at the Jurong Shipyard in Singapore.
The Noble Houston Colbert jack-up has been contracted by ConocoPhillips for operations offshore Alaska at a day rate of $235,000, starting late this year.
Maersk Drilling has agreed to hire the Noble Sam Turner at a day rate of $215,000.
It is to work in the Danish sector of the North Sea, starting late summer and run for three years.
