Reef Subsea Group said last night its chief executive, Mark Preece, was stepping down by mutual agreement. The Norwegian firm added: “Mr Preece will be leaving the company immediately to pursue other interests. The board wishes him every success in his new pursuits.”
Duncan MacPherson, who is managing director of Reef Subsea Norway, becomes interim chief executive for the group.
Reef Subsea, which employs 50 people in Aberdeen, also announced the appointment of Mel Fitzgerald, a former chief executive of energy service firm Subsea 7, as chairman.
