The UK’s largest oilfield, Buzzard, has resumed output at up to 180,000 barrels of oil per day after a maintenance shutdown, sources said yesterday.

The UK’s largest oilfield, Buzzard, has resumed output at up to 180,000 barrels of oil per day after a maintenance shutdown, sources said yesterday.

Buzzard restarted earlier than expected after shutting on Friday for pipeline inspection and maintenance work, known in the industry as pigging, originally planned to last four days.
