A north-east oil and gas consultant has moved from Aberdeen to new offices at nearby Westhill after hitting its 2015 turnover target two years early.
Embrion, which delivers services using psychology to improve business practices in performance and safety, was previously based in Gallowgate.
Its new leased site in Arnhall Industrial Park is double the size.
The company employs 14 people but bosses expect this to rise amid continued growth of a business that, within two years of its launch, is achieving annual turnover of £1.5-£2million; a level of business not expected to be reached for another two years.
Managing director Jonathan Passmore, a qualified psychologist, said: “We decided to relocate our office from the city centre to Westhill as it is regarded as the global subsea centre of excellence, and it is also in the same area that a number of our clients are based. It’s rewarding to see the business expand as we continue to deliver our bespoke services to businesses across the north-east and in the North Sea.”
Embrion’s operations director is Jim McGovern, who served in the Royal Marines before working in health and safety roles in the energy and construction sectors.
