Aberdeen-based Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) said yesterday it had signed a contract with BP to support the oil giant’s UK operations.
The firm said it would provide platform-supply and emergency-response and rescue services under the deal, understood to be worth £50million over five years.
This week, BP also awarded a £63million contract to North Star Shipping, a division of Aberdeen-based Craig Group, to provide tanker-assist, platform-supply and emergency-response and rescue vessels to support BP’s North Sea work.
