An Aberdeen software firm is to expand its headcount after landing a series of global contracts worth more than £3.6 million.
ZynQ 360 is looking to make a number of “key appointment” across the business to support its growth.
With regional offices in Houston, Texas, and Perth, Australia, the company will deliver the contracts across the USA, UK and Western Australia.
That’s in addition to major projects in Europe and Guyana.
To support the work, ZynQ is planning to add another five workers to its existing team in Aberdeen, where it has a base in Leadside Road, Rosemount.
The positions currently up for grabs are international business development manager, business development manager, marketing manager, IT manager and software product manager.
Globally, ZynQ is looking to increase its headcount from 31 to 40, with recruitment taking place in sales and field operations.
The contract awards follow the successful ‘Version 2’ launch of ZynQ’s world leading visualisation software and new licencing model earlier this year.
Brian Dillon, the company’s managing director, said: “The company made a conscious decision to invest significantly in our ZynQ software during the last twelve months and this has paid material dividends.
“Our global clients have definitely bought into our new business model in a big way, and the trend will continue into 2022 and 2023 with further contract awards expected through Q3 and Q4 2021.”
Following the contract wins, ZynQ’s cloud-based platform will be adopted by both onshore and offshore assets, giving workers rapid and reliable access to new and existing data.
Brian Milne, the company’s technical director, added: “We have combined and integrated the latest technologies to deliver the most comprehensive and sustainable Visualisation Software available and these new contracts will benefit from the performance, integration and usability improvements we have made.”
