Aberdeen-based TWMA continues to widen its global reach.
The firm, which is involved in integrated drilling services and environmental solutions, expanded its American facilities a year ago.
It is now able to manufacture equipment to meet demand for its services in the US and around the world.
US contracts won by TWMA over the past year amount to around £3million.
The company said it had gained a strong foothold in Texas and was now extending its reach into the shale-rich regions of Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.
Ian Nicolson, vice-president for TWMA in the Americas, said: “North America remains a key region for us and our growth has been significant, particularly in the shale plays. The US industry has welcomed our innovative service and we look forward to continuing to break new ground in the region.”
As part of its continued growth strategy, the firm is recruiting and putting a particular emphasis on transferable skills from other sectors.
Mr Nicolson added: “Like most organisations in the energy sector, we face a huge challenge when it comes to recruitment. However, our technologies have many applications in and synergies with other sectors so we are actively looking for new recruits who currently work in the military or agriculture and electrical engineering industries.”
While most of TWMA’s US contracts have been onshore for using its TCC RotoTruck processing equipment, the company believes that there is huge potential for its offshore processing system, the TCC RotoMill, in the Gulf of Mexico.
