More than 100 women gathered in London yesterday to share their experiences of rising to the top in the oil and gas industry.
The annual Women In Energy (WIE) conference, now in its seventh year, focused on the career challenges facing them in the sector.
It also highlighted the benefits that women could bring to the boardroom.
Organised by the London section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, keynote speakers included Oil and Gas UK operations director Oonagh Werngren.
She said: “I was delighted to be invited to speak at the conference, which focused on celebrating the differences and shining a spotlight on the unique qualities women bring to the workplace.”
The event also featured workshops on topics such as career coaching and developing leadership qualities.
