Oil and gas engineering firm Alderley has won a £19.2million deal with South Korea’s Daelim for a project in Kuwait.
The contract, which was awarded to Alderley’s United Arab Emirates subsidiary – Alderley FZE (AFZE)- includes the provision of 22 metering skids for use by the Kuwait Oil Company in Kuwait.
Mike Shepherd, general manager of AFZE, said: “This is the largest metering project we have secured at AFZE. Having recently invested in expanding our facilities to increase our capacity by an additional 40%, we are pleased to be able to offer our clients optimal resource and support for this large scale project.”
The systems will be designed, manufactured and tested at AFZE’s facility in Jebel Ali, in the United Arab Emirates.
Gloucestershire-based Alderley , which has manufactured metering equipment since 1959 to measure the flow of oil and gas, has offices in the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Singapore.
“This recent investment into our facilities continues to demonstrate our commitment to support the Middle East and beyond,” Shepherd added.
