Project management and concept development specialist EPC Offshore yesterday moved into new offices in the west end of Aberdeen.
The firm said it had invested £2million in the site at 56 Carden Place – a location which will allow for more expansion.
EPC has agreed a long-term lease on the three-storey, 7,000sqft building formerly occupied by the Clydesdale Bank.
Chief executive Keith Wallace said: “This is a long-term investment for EPC Offshore and underlines our commitment to our clients, our team and the city. We have created a great deal of positive momentum over the past couple of years, including doubling our employee numbers and increasing our range of clients, and we hope to build on this further in the months and years to come.
“We are focused on delivering the very best concept development, high-end engineering and project management aimed at turning our clients’ opportunities into assets. We have steadily invested in expanding our company both in terms of our people and our capabilities in line with market needs in the last 12 months and have found demand for our services continues to rise.
“The increased capacity of our new office provides the basis to expand the Aberdeen team in the near future. Strengthened teams will enable us to better support our North Sea clients, allow us to target market share as we bring in the specialist skills required to enable us to offer an increased range and depth of services to our clients.”
EPC was set up in 2009 and now has an annual turnover of around £12million. It has 80 employees between Aberdeen and Surrey and this is expected to rise to 115 in the near future.
