Energy service firm Cape said yesterday its first quarter trading had been broadly in line with expectations.
Cape, which issued a series of profit warnings last year, added it was planning to complete further organisational changes this year, including the merging and closure of some of its branches.
The outlook for its business in the Asia Pacific region, and Australia in particular, remained “challenging”.
Cape, which provide non-mechanical industrial services to industry, employs more than 21,000 people globally.
