A new chief executive has joined Cromarty Firth Port Authority.
Bob Buskie has been appointed by the harbour board to succeed Captain Ken Gray, who is retiring after nearly eight years in the role.
The new boss joins the port from Aberdeen-based oil service company Sparrows Group, where he was director of business development.
Mr Buskie said he was delighted to be joining the CFPA as it prepared for a multimillion-pound development.
The board is expected to start £20million of work to reclaim nine acres of land early next year.
Mr Buskie described the move as an “extremely exciting opportunity”, adding: “The port is about to embark on a major expansion project and I am sure my background in business leadership and development will help ensure this is a success.”
