The former boss of Chevron in Aberdeen has retired after 35 years with the business.
Gary Luquette, who was managing director of Chevron’s upstream business in Europe for three years until 2006, was latterly president of the operator’s North American exploration and production division.
Chevron chief executive John Watson said: “Over the course of his career, Gary established himself as a remarkable leader within Chevron and the industry.
“Beyond his leadership qualities, Gary was an exceptional colleague whose experience and insight made him an invaluable member of our senior management team.”
