Well intervention experts are being sought to speak at conference in Aberdeen later this year.
The 19th well intervention conference, from the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Aberdeen section and the Intervention and Coiled Tubing Association (ICoTA), is set to take place on November 13 and 14.
The industry bodies are inviting technical experts from a variety of well intervnetion and completion disciplines to submit their presentations for consideration at the event.
“Sharing experience, knowledge of innovative, successful or challenging well intervention techniques is essential in sustaining the oil and gas industry and is high on both SPE and ICoTA’s agenda,” said conference chairman John Donachie.
“The conference and exhibition, now in its 19th year, will provide the perfect platform to share knowledge and experience and discuss the latest technology, to ensure the longevity of the sector.”
The conference will focus on a range of well intervention practices as well as specialist tools and solutions, with organisers keen to hear case studies from the UK Continental Shelf in particular.
