FES International is to upgrade systems on the Haewene Brim floating production storage and offloading vessel – nine years after landing the original order.
The Newcastle-based company will replace the £250,000 seawater uptake system on the FPSO, which is currently leased to Shell Expro for the Pierce field.
THe system provides cooling seawater for the FPSO process.
“The biggest endorsement that our customers can give us, is placing repeat orders,” said Ian Latimer, co-founder of FES Internationa
“Bluewater’s FPSOs are renowned for operating in some of the harshest environments and throughout our longstanding relationship with them we’ve consistently delivered technology that meets their exacting performance standards. This project is the latest in a host of new business wins by FES and marks an important time for the company as we continue to grow the business following our move into new premises earlier this year.”
